2/3 - 2/4: All Night Vigil for First Friday & First Saturday

Church of the Holy Innocents
37th Street between Broadway and Seventh Ave
 

On First Friday, a Solemn Mass for the Feast of the Sacred Heart will be celebrated at 6 P.M. at the 
Church of the Holy Innocents in Manhattan (37th Street between Broadway and Seventh Avenue).

The Mass begins the usual First Friday and First Saturday All Night Vigil in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.


The Friday Night Mass and Divine Office and the Saturday Morning Mass will be celebrated according to the 1962 liturgical books. Service leaflets with the Latin and English texts will be available.  Refreshments will be served twice during the night in the Church Hall.

The All Night Vigil is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus in cooperation between 
Agnus Dei Council, No. 12361, and Holy Innocent's Regina Coeli Council, No. 423.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass (8am) begins our day.  Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament follows, then people can either remain in the Church to adore our Lord or attend the rosary procession to the local abortion clinic (2 blocks away - Planned Parenthood).

Upon return from the clinic (approx 10:15am) we will have Benediction followed by a social (complete with coffee and donuts) with a short (10 mins) presentation by the Sisters of Life.  You will hear of concrete ways to be of service, as Co-Workers, helping vulnerable pregnant women that are currently being served by the Sisters.

The rally will come at a critical time, since the Legislature may be considering a bill to expand abortion rights here in New York.
